Richhill Castle is believed to have its origins around 1665, when built by Major Edward Richardson. The building is understood to be one of the first unfortified Castles ever to be built in Ireland.
The Castle was built on a hill by Richardson and was shortened to Richhill, thus giving its name to the town.

Join NIPRA to conduct an investigation into this amazing house, full of history and ghosts, from doors that open and close by unseen hands, to voices talking in empty rooms or you may see the full apparition of Dolly or another of the several spirit people who visit the castle.

Your investigation will start at 21.00pm and will finish at around 0900am, depending on the activity. You will get full training on the equipment we use, such as night vision goggles, emf meters and digital recorders, you will also do circle work and development work to help you tune yourself into the spirit world. Please note this is a family run castle so please respect this at all times, entry to the castle is only through bookings, please bring sleeping bags.

A full talk on the Castle and the Paranormal will be given first, then the lights will be switched off and the night begins.

Price is £65 and supper and brekfast will be provided, please note that for safety you will not be allowed to walk around this building by yourselfs at night you can take photos or video as much as you like.
